Debt Management Unit Vacancies

We have exciting opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our new Debt Management Unit (DMU) based in the City Centre.  Our DMU will form part of the wider Citizens Advice Debt Management Service (DMS) and will work in collaboration with a payment distributor to offer clients a range of managed debt solutions.  We are seeking candidates that want to be part of a new team that is at the forefront of money advice development.

Post:      Supervisor - Debt Management Unit (12 month fixed term contract)                  Salary:   £27,668 (35 hours per week)                                                                                                   

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to deliver a quality money advice service and to co-ordinate and supervise the day-to-day operation of the DMU.  If you are a skilled team leader with two years full time equivalent experience of delivering specialist debt advice and casework then this could be the role for you!

Post:      Deputy Supervisor - Debt Management Unit (12 month fixed term contract)         Salary:   £24,174 (35 hours per week)

We are also recruiting for a Deputy Supervisor to deliver a quality money advice service and perform the day-to-day duties of the Supervisor in their absence.  If you have the ability to support a team together with two years full time experience of delivering specialist debt advice and casework then this could be the role for you.

Citizens Advice Manchester, a progressive and dynamic advice service has exciting opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our new Debt Management Postal Unit based in the City Centre.  The successful applicants will be responsible for administration activity for the team, including paperless processing of a high volume of incoming and outgoing post, liaising directly with clients and creditors to process and manage payment proposals.  
 
The role entails a high level of contact with clients and creditors via letter, email and telephone and applicants should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.  If this is you and you would enjoy:

MAS Contact Centre Vacancies

We also have exciting opportunities to join our Money Advice Contact Centre.  Due to the continued success of the project we have been awarded additional funding and are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the team.

Post:      Telephone & Digital Money Advice Caseworker x 1.5 FTE
Salary:   Point 26-28 (£23,398 - £24,964) or pro rata        
Hours:   35 hours per week or 17.5 hours per week
 

OR
 
Post:       TRAINEE Telephone & Digital Money Advice Caseworker x 1.5 FTE
Salary:    Point 21 (£20,138) or pro rata
Hours:    35 hours per week or 17.5 hours per week

Money Advice Caseworkers based within the Contact Centre deliver telephone and digital advice to clients referred into the service by partners.  The successful applicants will have a minimum of one year’s full-time equivalent experience of delivering debt advice and an ability to satisfy MAS standards of competence at casework level.

If you don’t have the necessary skills and experience to apply for the Money Advice Caseworker posts, but have a passion for helping people resolve their financial problems, we are offering trainee positions.  We can offer comprehensive training and support to enable you to achieve competence as a Money Advice Caseworker within 6-12 months.
