Position: Energy Advice Caseworker or Trainee
Salary Range: £20,661 – £23,398 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full Time (35 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary to 30 September 2018
We are looking for a suitable candidate who would be interested in developing their existing advice skills and gaining experience in project work. We will provide a full training and support package.
Funded by British Gas Energy Trust, you will join a team of 6 advisers in our Energy Advice Team. This team aims to tackle fuel poverty in Manchester by providing a service specifically targeted at the most vulnerable and financially excluded families.
Following initial training, the adviser will provide a flexible menu of services including money advice, income maximisation, welfare benefits and energy efficiency advice via a range of outreach venues. You will also deliver energy awareness sessions to community groups and front line staff in partner organisations.
